Stake SOL with Jupiter
Staking SOL with the Jupiter validator earns Solana network rewards. Choose native staking, or JupSOL: a liquid token whose value in SOL rises as rewards accrue.[1]
- Best for
- SOL holders who want staking rewards, with or without a liquid token.
- You'll need
- A Solana wallet, such as Jupiter Wallet, Jupiter Mobile, Phantom or Solflare
- SOL: at least 1 SOL for native staking
- Cost
- Validator commission: 5% of inflation rewards, 0% of MEV rewards

Step by step
Open Stake
Go to jup.ag/stake and connect your wallet.
Choose native or JupSOL
Native keeps SOL in a stake account; JupSOL gives you a token you can trade or use in DeFi.
Enter an amount
Native staking needs at least 1 SOL.
Confirm
Native stake activates at the next epoch, about 2 days. JupSOL arrives right away.
Good to know
- The Jupiter validator takes 5% of inflation rewards and 0% of MEV rewards.[1]
- Native stake activates and unstakes at epoch boundaries; epochs last about 2 days.[1]
- JupSOL's exchange rate rises over time, so 1 SOL deposited today returns less than 1 JupSOL. That is expected.[2]
- JupSOL is built on Sanctum's stake pool program and can be redeemed for SOL at any time.[2]
