Swap USDC for $ARMORED

USDC in, kitten out. Quotes come from Jupiter, and your own wallet signs. Never used a wallet before? The tutorial under the swap takes you from nothing to your first $ARMORED.

  1. Connect a Solana wallet that holds USDC and a little SOL for the network fee.
  2. Type an amount and read the quote: price impact, route and the minimum you receive.
  3. Compare the address with Bq4iwaa2hGWweyCeM9ZNyWnZSj6pCMeUDKZgmtb5pump
  4. Approve in your wallet. Nobody here ever touches your funds or keys.

Meme coins can go to zero. $ARMORED is a small community token, not an investment, and nothing here is financial advice.

Swaps here carry a 0.5% StonkBuilder fee, paid through Jupiter's Referral Program. It replaces Jupiter's own fee (0% to 0.1% on most pairs at jup.ag), and Jupiter keeps a fifth of it.

Wallet, USDC, swap: the beginner's tutorial

About fifteen minutes, one phone, and money you would be fine giving away. The pictures are drawings that show what each step is about; your wallet app may look a little different, so read the labels.

Three cards: 1 make a wallet, 2 get some USDC, 3 swap for $ARMORED.
The whole journey in one picture.

Before you start

  • $ARMORED is a small community token, not an investment. The price can fall to zero. Spend only what you would give away.
  • Check your local rules. Crypto purchases are restricted in some places, and Jupiter says Jupiter Mobile is not offered in the United States.
  • You need a phone, a pen and paper, and a card or some USDC you already own.

Part 1: Make a wallet with Jupiter Mobile

A wallet is an app that holds the keys to your tokens. This guide uses Jupiter Mobile because it can buy USDC and swap in one place. Phantom and Solflare follow the same steps.

A phone showing an app store search for Jupiter Mobile, with notes to start from jup.ag/mobile and check the developer name.
Step 1: start on the official page, then install.
  1. Install the official app

Open jup.ag/mobile and follow its App Store or Google Play link. Do not install from search ads: fake wallet apps copy names and logos.

  2. Create a new wallet

On first launch, choose Create new wallet. Set the app lock (a PIN, or Face or Touch ID) so a lost phone does not become a lost wallet.

A phone with Create new wallet, Import a wallet and Social login buttons and notes on which to choose.
Step 2: choose Create new wallet. Skip Import today.
  1. Write the recovery phrase on paper

The app shows a list of words, usually twelve. Copy them in order onto paper and keep it somewhere safe and offline. Jupiter Mobile has no cloud backup, so the paper is the backup.

  2. Confirm the backup

If the app asks you to confirm some words, do it. You can see the phrase again later in the wallet menu under Manage Account.

Twelve example recovery words on paper, and crossed-out places never to keep them: screenshots, cloud notes, email and websites.
The words in the drawing are examples. Never use them, and never keep your own in these places.

Nobody legitimate will ever ask for your recovery phrase. Not Jupiter, not Armored Kitten, not a "verification" bot in Telegram. Anyone who asks is trying to steal from you.

Part 2: Get some USDC

USDC is a stablecoin designed to track the US dollar. Holding it first gives you a steady starting balance, and the swap above takes USDC. Pick the way that fits you.

Way A: buy with a card inside the wallet

Two phone screens: the wallet home with a Deposit button, then the Deposit screen offering Buy with Credit card, Apple Pay and more.
Way A: Deposit, then buy with a card.
  1. Tap Deposit

On the Jupiter Mobile home screen. (On a computer, jup.ag/deposit does the same.)

  2. Choose to buy with a card

The option reads Buy with Credit card, Apple Pay & more. The purchase is handled by MoonPay, a third-party payment provider.

  3. Start with a small amount

MoonPay shows its fee and the total before you pay, and it may ask for ID. That is normal for card purchases.

  4. Wait for the USDC to arrive

It shows up in your balance, usually within minutes.

Way B: send USDC from an exchange

A flow from an exchange to a withdraw screen on the Solana network to your own wallet address, with notes about the network and a test send.
Way B: withdraw on the Solana network to your own address.
  1. Copy your wallet address

In the wallet, open Receive and copy the address. It is safe to share; the recovery phrase is not.

  2. Withdraw USDC on the Solana network

In the exchange, withdraw USDC and choose Solana as the network. USDC also exists on other networks, and a wrong network can lose the funds.

  3. Send a small test first

Send about $2, wait until it shows in your wallet, then send the rest.

Keep a little SOL too. Every Solana transaction costs a tiny fee in SOL, and a new token needs a small refundable deposit. About 0.01 SOL is comfortable. You can swap a little USDC into SOL the same way as below.

Part 3: Swap USDC for $ARMORED

Two ways lead to the same swap. Use the one that suits your wallet.

Way A: use the swap on this page

A phone showing the swap with USDC in and ARMORED out and a Connect button, with notes for phone and computer wallets.
Connect from your wallet's browser or a computer extension.
  1. Connect

On a phone, open this page inside your wallet app (Phantom and Solflare have a built-in browser, and the Connect dialog offers "open in your wallet" links). On a computer, use a wallet extension such as Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or the Jupiter wallet extension, then press Connect and approve in the wallet’s own pop-up. Connecting never moves money.

  2. Type an amount

Start small. The "You receive" side is already set to $ARMORED.

A phone with USDC in and ARMORED out, price impact and minimum received, and a checklist to compare the first and last six characters of the token address.
Read the quote, then compare the address. Numbers in the drawing are examples.
  1. Read the quote

Check the price impact and the minimum you receive. The pool is still small, so big buys move the price. Fees are shown before you sign.

  2. Compare the address

The token must be Bq4iwaa2hGWweyCeM9ZNyWnZSj6pCMeUDKZgmtb5pump The first six (Bq4iwa) and last six (b5pump) characters must match exactly. "Not verified" is normal for a new community token.

  3. Approve in your wallet

Your wallet shows the swap. When it confirms, the token appears in your list.

Done. A little SOL stays behind for fees.

Way B: swap inside Jupiter Mobile

  1. Open the swap screen

In Jupiter Mobile, set You pay to USDC and type the amount.

  2. Search by address, not by name

For You receive, paste Bq4iwaa2hGWweyCeM9ZNyWnZSj6pCMeUDKZgmtb5pump The token shows as ArmoredKitten (symbol Armored). Compare the first and last six characters, then swap and approve.

The studio's beginner guide and intermediate guide cover the same ground in more words, and the AI Companion page shows what holding $ARMORED unlocks.

Stay safe

Four warning cards: a DM from support, an airdrop link, a look-alike token address, and a send-one-get-two offer.
If you see any of these four, walk away.
  • Your recovery phrase goes on paper and nowhere else. Nobody legitimate asks for it.
  • Only the address Bq4iwaa2hGWweyCeM9ZNyWnZSj6pCMeUDKZgmtb5pump is $ARMORED. Copies with the same name exist.
  • Type websites yourself or use the links on this page. Do not follow links from DMs.
  • Send a small test before a large transfer, and swap a small amount before a big one.

Questions

Do I need to buy SOL as well?

A little helps. Every Solana transaction costs a tiny fee in SOL, and holding a new token needs a small refundable deposit of about 0.002 SOL, so about 0.01 SOL is a comfortable amount. Jupiter can sometimes cover the network cost of a swap and add it to the swap fee instead; the quote tells you before you sign.

Why does my wallet say the token is unverified?

$ARMORED is a new community token, so it has no verified badge. Anyone can make a token with any name, which is why you compare the address character by character: it is Bq4iwaa2hGWweyCeM9ZNyWnZSj6pCMeUDKZgmtb5pump.

Can I buy it directly with a card?

Not in one step. Buy USDC with a card inside your wallet first, then swap the USDC for $ARMORED here. That keeps the card payment with a payment provider and the swap with your own wallet.

Why does the quote mention ORE?

$ARMORED trades against ORE on pump.fun, so Jupiter routes USDC to ORE, then ORE to $ARMORED. It is automatic. You see the whole route, the fees and the minimum you receive before you sign.

Who runs this swap?

Jupiter. This page asks Jupiter's Swap API for a quote, your wallet signs, and Jupiter sends the transaction to Solana. StonkBuilder built the screen and never holds your tokens or keys.

Is Jupiter Mobile available where I live?

Jupiter says Jupiter Mobile is not offered in the United States, and crypto purchases are restricted in some countries. Check your local rules. Phantom and Solflare are wallets that follow the same steps.

What if something goes wrong?

Nobody here can reverse a transaction or recover a lost recovery phrase. If a swap fails, your tokens stay in your wallet. For help, ask in the community Telegram, and never share your phrase with anyone who offers to help.
