What is $ORE?
ORE is Solana's digital gold: a token built to hold value the way gold does. Nobody can print more, new coins have to be mined, and the supply stops at 3,000,000.
How ORE mining works
- Mine. Each round, miners put SOL on the tiles of a 5×5 grid on ore.com.
- Win. An onchain draw picks one winning tile, and 1 new ORE goes to the miners on it.
- Jackpot. Every round also adds 0.2 ORE to the Motherlode, which pays out once in about 500 rounds.
- Burn. The protocol's revenue buys ORE back, and most of it is removed from circulation.
$ARMORED holders are paid in ORE because ORE is the coin's pair on pump.fun: the reward is a scarce, mined asset with its own market. Like gold, its price still goes up and down.
