Is Figure AI public?

No. Figure AI is a private company, so there is no Figure AI stock to buy on an exchange today. On 2 Oct 2026 EDGAR held no registration statement filed by Figure AI itself (other companies' filings mention it).^[1] We found no announcement of an IPO filing or a listing date.

Funding and valuation

Figure announced on 16 September 2025 that it had exceeded $1 billion in committed capital through a Series C at a post-money valuation of $39 billion. Figure said Parkway Venture Capital led the round, with significant investment from Brookfield Asset Management, NVIDIA, Macquarie Capital, Intel Capital, Align Ventures, Tamarack Global, LG Technology Ventures, Salesforce and others.^[2] That is the last round Figure has announced in the sources we checked.

PreStocks' Figure AI page shows a last-round valuation of $42.5 billion and a price of $194.93 a share on 2 Oct 2026.^[3] We could not match $42.5 billion to any round Figure has announced, so treat that number as PreStocks' own, not as a company figure.

What the FIGUREAI token is

FIGUREAI is a PreStocks token on Solana that follows the price of Figure AI's shares. It is not a Figure AI share: PreStocks' FAQ says its tokens confer no ownership, voting, dividend, information or other legal rights.^[4] PreStocks announced the token on 6 September 2026.^[5] It says its tokens settle in stablecoins or tokenized public stock rather than by transferring shares, and are backed through holding entities such as SPVs.^[6][7]

Other ways people get Figure AI exposure

ARK Venture Fund (ARKVX), a registered fund that holds private stock, lists Figure AI Inc. among its holdings at 31 July 2026.^[9] A fund has its own fees, redemption limits and eligibility rules, so read its documents first. PreStocks isn't open to everyone: its terms exclude U.S. persons and people in 36 named jurisdictions.^[10] This page explains; it doesn't recommend buying or selling anything.

What happens to FIGUREAI tokens if Figure AI lists

PreStocks says that when a company lists, its token becomes convertible into a tokenized version of the public stock, with up to nine months to convert before the token expires worthless.^[4] Figure AI hasn't listed, and PreStocks' Figure AI page showed no IPO or conversion notice on 2 Oct 2026.^[3] The one worked example is SpaceX: what happens to a token at an IPO.

What to watch next

1. The public S-1 on EDGAR. Look for a filing whose filer is Figure AI.^[1]
2. A new funding round from Figure. It would settle which valuation is current and give PreStocks a company-confirmed last round to show.^[3]
3. A notice from PreStocks. An IPO or conversion notice would appear on its Figure AI page first.^[3]
