Anthropic stock price: why every site shows a different number

The short answer

There is no Anthropic stock price in the usual sense. Anthropic is private and has no ticker; it has only confidentially filed for an IPO.^[1][8] The figures you see come from a funding round, a crypto token, a derivatives market and a private-share marketplace, and each is measured differently.

The numbers, lined up

Crypto price sites list the PreStocks token under names like "Anthropic tokenized stock", which is how a token price ends up looking like a stock quote.^[10] It is the same token as the Jupiter row above.

Turning the token price into a valuation

Because one ANTHROPIC token tracks one share, you can scale the last round by the token price to see the valuation the token implies:^[9]

Implied valuation = token price ÷ round price per share × round valuation
                  = $1,061 ÷ $589.01 × $965B
                  ≈ $1.74 trillion

That is about 1.8 times the May round. It is what token buyers were paying, not what Anthropic is worth: the token also carries PreStocks' fees and risks, and Anthropic and its underwriters will set the IPO price. What about the ticker?

Anthropic has no ticker. It will be named in the prospectus once the company files publicly.^[12] Until then, symbols you see on data sites are those sites' own labels for a private company, and "ANTHROPIC" on a crypto site is the PreStocks token, not a share. Coins that merely use the name give you no claim on the company.
