The story in ten seconds

A kitten far too small for its armor meets a knight twice the size of a door. The knight asks if it has done this before. The kitten says no, but it wants to learn. The knight says he will teach it. That is the whole coin.

How the ORE rewards work

$ARMORED was launched with pump.fun's Holder Rewards switched on. Normally a pump.fun coin's creator earns a small fee on every trade. With Holder Rewards, that fee goes to the coin's holders instead.[2] For $ARMORED the fee is 3% of every buy and sell on pump.fun, set in the coin's own account on Solana.[3]

pump.fun pays holder rewards in the coin's pair token, so $ARMORED holders receive ORE. It pays them out in rounds and there is nothing to claim.[4] Quiet weeks pay little. Our article on pump.fun Holder Rewards walks through the details.

The risks, honestly

  • It is a meme. There is no product, no revenue and no promise. Its price is whatever the next buyer will pay, and it can go to zero.
  • Almost 4% on every trade. Each buy or sell on pump.fun pays 3% to holders and 0.95% to pump.fun, so a quick buy and sell costs about 8% before price impact.
  • Small pools move fast. A young coin has little liquidity, so one large trade can move the price a lot.
  • Copies exist for every popular coin. Check every character of the contract address. Anyone who sends you a different one in a DM is not the team.
  • Rewards follow trading. ORE has its own price, and the rewards shrink when trading slows.
